What is Snoring?
Snoring normally sounds a bit airy. The strong rumbling occurring when an individual is sleeping is what makes the snore sound. Ordinarily, the person sleeps peacefully, and snoring is harmless. But once the snorer is getting up half the night due to shortage of oxygen, accompanied by snoring – may be an indication of something more dangerous.
Why Does Snoring Occur?
Snoring could happen from a deviated septum, sleep apnea, or as common as being too intoxicated. In the most common of the occasions, it happens whenever the uvula falls toward the back of the throat – obscuring the passage of air. This doesn’t slow the lungs from craving air – so the person will start to inhale deeper and push the oxygen through. This will cause the uvula to vibrate which often is that sound most people are familiar with.
Factors along the lines of age, obesity, alcohol can all bring about to snoring.

With the less traumatic situations (that doesn’t require snoring surgery), snoring won’t harm the person snoring. Unfortunately, this doesn’t stop anyone else within the room from becoming distracted and sometimes agitated from the sound. A snore may get particularly loud.
