The next thing you are gong to want to do is find the computer sound card and hook it up to the output of the tape. This will allow you to capture the output of the tape on your computer. This step is actually much easier if you have either a stereo to USB wire or a stereo to stereo wire.

3-Change the output degrees

The next step is to take a look at the output levels and modify them however you want. Chances are good the music will be a bit distorted immediately. If it is a few adjustments will make it sound normal.

4-Start the recording

Now that you have the music sounding the way you want it, just hit the button that says record and it will start to transfer it onto your laptop. Once the recording is done just save it onto your laptop as an MP3 file and burn it to a CD, that is it!
